State Police Arrest Wanted Sex Offender

State Police have arrested a man wanted for failing to register as a sex offender at a shelter in Boston yesterday afternoon, one day after he appeared on their list of the “Top Ten Most Wanted Sex Offenders” in the state. Troopers found Franklin Miller, 33, eating lunch at a shelter on Stanhope Street, State Police said in a statement. Intelligence suggested that Miller spent Wednesday night at a friend’s house in the Back Bay, State Police said. Miller was previously convicted of raping a child and was expected to be arraigned in Fitchburg District Court, State Police said.
